Terms and Conditions

1. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations, stays and services offered by Fosseland Hytter.

2. Reservation & Payment

A reservation is final once the confirmation has been sent by email.

Reservations can be made via the website or by email.

A (down) payment may be requested when booking. It is also possible to pay on location.

3. Check‑in & Check‑out

Check‑in: from 15:00

Check‑out: no later than 11:00

Other times may be possible upon request.

4. Cancellation by the Guest

Cancellations must be submitted in writing (by email).

Any cancellation fees are listed in the booking conditions.

No refunds are given in case of early departure.

5. Cancellation by Fosseland Hytter

In exceptional cases, Fosseland Hytter may cancel a reservation (e.g., due to force majeure). In such cases, all payments already made will be refunded.

6. Liability

Staying in and around the cabins is at your own risk.

Fosseland Hytter is not liable for loss, damage or injury unless caused by gross negligence.

Damage to the accommodation or inventory caused by the guest will be charged.

7. House Rules

The house rules must be followed during the stay. In case of serious violations, access to the accommodation may be denied without refund.

8. Use of the Accommodation

The accommodation may only be used by the number of persons stated in the reservation.

The accommodation must be left tidy.

Additional cleaning costs may be charged if the accommodation is left in poor condition.

Parties, events or commercial activities are not allowed without prior approval.

Pets are only allowed if agreed upon in advance.

9. Force Majeure & Weather Conditions

In circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, power outages, natural conditions), Fosseland Hytter cannot be held liable for inconvenience or limitations.

The access road may be steeper or more slippery in certain seasons. Guests are responsible for a suitable vehicle and driving style.

Fosseland Hytter is not liable for delays or inconvenience caused by weather conditions.

10. Privacy

Personal data is used solely for processing reservations and will not be shared with third parties unless necessary for service delivery. See the privacy statement on the website.
